Vice President - Operations

Mr Turner was previously employed at Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) for 29 years with 20 years as the Operations Manager at the SPI Loyalton biomass Cogeneration Facility. He was recently responsible for all operations activities at three SPI power plants and for quality control auditing at nine additional SPI facilities. Mr Turner has extensive experience in all aspects of biomass operations including: 

• Biomass power plant operations from fuel procurement through to PPA performance based production including PPA contract negotiations
• Development, permitting, and utilization of alternative biomass fuel sources for a wood fired boiler/power plant
• Operations manager in custom and dimension lumber production with modern optimized scanning solutions
• Extensive background in developing new air quality, water quality, and OSHA permitted reporting programs
• Strategic critical path project planning experience for large industrial projects
• Actual experience in welding, fabrication, electrical, hydraulics, crane operation, operating all forms of bulk handling machinery/equipment, and new industrial construction
