Welcome to NeuroRadiant. Your primary resource for neuroradiology.
My name is Matt Alvin. I am a neuroradiologist, a teacher, an entrepreneur, a father, and a husband. Here’s my education path:
BS – University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 2009
MD, MA (Bioethics), MS (Applied Anatomy) – Case Western Reserve University, 2012, 2015
MBA – University of Florida, 2013
MD – Case Western Reserve University, 2015
Internship (Internal Medicine) – The Johns Hopkins Hospital, 2016
Residency (Radiology) – The Johns Hopkins Hospital, 2020
Fellowship (Neuroradiology) – The Johns Hopkins Hospital, 2021
American Board of Radiology – Certified, 2021
Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) – Neuroradiology, 2022
When I started studying radiology and, especially when it came time for the Core/Certifying exams and fellowship, I realized there was no one-stop-shop for learning neuroradiology. A few books and 1 or 2 Q-Banks existed, which were far from comprehensive. I set out to create such a resource and NeuroRadiant was born. I have professional experience in academic, private, and teleradiology, with over 80% of my time spent interpreting neuroradiology imaging.
Who is this for? Anyone who sees, interprets, or utilizes neuroradiology for patient care or educational purposes. Medical students, residents, technologists, researchers, attendings – all can benefit from NeuroRadiant.
